1. Who we are

Scandi Water ApS is a Danish co-producer of private label mineral and alkaline water in Tetra Pak® cartons for businesses across Europe. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect

We only collect personal data when you actively provide it — for example when you submit our “Get a Quote” form:

• First and last name
• Business / company name
• Email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Your message or enquiry details

We do not collect sensitive personal data and do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Technical data and third-party services

Like any website, our servers and the services below automatically receive your IP address and standard browser information when a page loads. We use this only to deliver the site and do not combine it with your enquiry data. The following third parties may receive your IP address for this purpose:

• Netlify (hosting and quote-form delivery) — privacy policy
• Google Fonts (typefaces) — privacy policy
• OpenStreetMap Foundation (map tiles on our “How We Work” page) — privacy policy
• unpkg / Cloudflare (delivery of the open-source map library on the same page) — privacy policy
• Anthropic (the AI chat assistant on our site). Messages you type into the chat are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a reply and are not used to train models. Do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat. — privacy policy
• Supabase (customer portal login and order data, used only by existing customers who sign in) — privacy policy

These services process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies. Some are operated by companies outside the EU/EEA; transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

• Respond to your quote request or enquiry
• Communicate with you about our products and services
• Fulfil any orders or agreements entered into with us

We will never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) when responding to your enquiry, and contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) when processing an order.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, and in compliance with Danish legal requirements — typically up to 5 years for business correspondence.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, contact us at inquiry@scandiwater.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority: datatilsynet.dk

8. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access or misuse.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.
